Important game to mention about took place in Domzale. Seventh ranked SlovenianHelios Suns (2-4) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Montenegrin Podgorica (1-5) 92-89 on Wednesday evening. Helios Suns made 25-of-30 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Podgorica turnovers. Helios Suns players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Podgorica was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for point guard Jan Zemljic (192-2004) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Blaz Mahkovic (201-1990, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 17 points and 9 assists for the winners. Guard Balsa Zivanovic (188-2001, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 20 points and 8 assists and American power forward Anthony Smith (201-1997, college: Murray St.) added 14 points and 5 assists in the effort for Podgorica. Five Helios Suns and four Podgorica players scored in double figures. Podgorica's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Helios Suns moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Siroki and Cedevita Jr. Podgorica at the other side keeps the eighth position with five games lost.
